Prabowo Arrives at the Kremlin Palace in Moscow, Welcomed by Putin

President Prabowo Subianto held a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow, Russia. Prabowo was welcomed by Putin at the Kremlin Palace.

In a YouTube broadcast by the Presidential Secretariat on Monday (13/4/2026), Prabowo was seen wearing a black suit complete with a peci. Putin was also dressed in a similar suit.

The two held their meeting in a room within the palace building. Putin and Prabowo sat in adjacent chairs separated by a small table between them.

Accompanying Prabowo in the meeting were Foreign Minister Sugiono, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.

Putin welcomed the meeting positively. He stated that he was pleased with the partnership established between Russia and Indonesia.

“Your Excellency, my good friend, once again I would like to express that I am very, very pleased that the contacts are conducted regularly and have substantial content, and some time ago we received a declaration regarding the strategic partnership between our two countries, and we are very pleased to implement steps that give significant meaning and content to the relations between our two countries,” said Putin in opening the meeting.
