Prabowo Arrives at Parliament Building, Set to Deliver Two Speeches Today

President Prabowo Subianto arrived at the Parliament Complex in Jakarta on Friday (14/8) ahead of delivering his State Address. His arrival was welcomed by MPR Speaker Ahmad Muzani, DPD Speaker Sultan Najamuddin, and DPR leaders. Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, 7th President Joko Widodo, 10th and 12th Vice President Jusuf Kalla, 11th Vice President Boediono, and cabinet ministers had already arrived before Prabowo. Prabowo is scheduled to deliver two speeches today. The first is the State Address and State Institution Performance Report, to be delivered during the MPR Annual Session and the Joint Session of the DPR and DPD at 08:30 WIB. For the second agenda, Prabowo will deliver a state address at a DPR plenary meeting at 13:00 WIB.
