Prabowo Appoints Liliek Prisbawono as Constitutional Court Justice to Replace Anwar Usman

President Prabowo Subianto has officially inaugurated Liliek Prisbawono Adi as a Constitutional Court justice at the State Palace in Jakarta on Friday (10/4/2026). Liliek replaces Anwar Usman, who has been retired since 6 April 2026. Deputy for Administrative Affairs of the State Secretariat Ministry, Nanik Purwanti, revealed that the basis for Liliek’s inauguration is contained in Presidential Decree of the Republic of Indonesia Number 36P of 2026 concerning the Dismissal and Appointment of Constitutional Court Justices, proposed by the Supreme Court. “Decide and so on. Establish and so on. Appoint, first, Liliek Prisbawono Adi as a Constitutional Court Justice,” said Nanik. The event then proceeded with the oath-taking ceremony in the presence of President Prabowo. After taking the oath, Liliek signed the minutes of the oath of office as a Constitutional Court Justice.
