Prabowo Appoints Dudung Abdurachman as Head of Presidential Staff Office, Qodari Shifts to Head of Bakom
Jakarta – President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto inaugurated Dudung Abdurachman, the presidential special advisor on national defence, as the Head of the Presidential Staff Office (KSP), replacing M Qodari, at the State Palace in Central Jakarta on Monday, 27 April 2026. Meanwhile, Qodari has shifted from the position of Head of KSP to Head of the Communication Agency (Bakom). The inauguration ceremony began with the singing of Indonesia Raya. It was then followed by the reading of the Presidential Decree on the appointment of the inaugurated officials. Afterwards, President Prabowo led the reading of the oath of office, which was followed by Qodari and Dudung Abdurachman. “By God, I swear that I will be loyal to the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia and will carry out all laws and regulations as straightforwardly as possible in service to the nation and state. That in carrying out my duties, I will uphold the ethics of the position, work to the best of my ability, with full sense of responsibility,” said Prabowo. After the inauguration, President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto, Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, and members of the Merah Putih Cabinet congratulated the inaugurated officials.
