Prabowo Applauds as Paskibraka Completes Flag-Raising at the Palace

President Prabowo Subianto led the flag-raising ceremony of the Red and White, which was hoisted by the Indonesia Berdaulat Heritage Flag Hoisting Team (Paskibraka). Prabowo and all invited guests applauded the successful flag-raising.

According to detikcom’s observations at Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Monday (17/8/2026), the Indonesia Berdaulat Paskibraka team completed the raising of the Red and White flag. After the formation was completed, in front of Prabowo, the Paskibraka team returned towards the rear courtyard of Merdeka Palace.

As they walked, Prabowo and all the invited guests applauded the Paskibraka team as a sign of appreciation for successfully completing the flag-raising.

Not only that, some guests also cheered the Paskibraka team as a sign of encouragement. A number of white doves were also released amid the thunderous applause from ceremony participants.

The bearer of the Red and White flag tray was Celina Olivia Apriani Theo. Celina is a representative of West Kalimantan Province. She is currently a student at SMK Negeri 5 Pontianak.

As the reserve tray bearer was Eighteen Jeanette Hekboy, a female Paskibraka member from East Nusa Tenggara Province who is a student at SMA Negeri 1 Kupang.

Achmad Fachri Mubarok served as Commander of Group 8. He is currently studying at SMKN 1 Jambi City.

The flag hoister was I Nyoman Harya Dhanurendra Darmamukti, a Paskibraka representative from South Kalimantan Province who is studying at SMAN 7 Banjarmasin.

M. Aryo Wira Zandhyka Y was assigned as the flag unfurler. He is a student at SMAN 7 Bengkulu City.

The Commander of Group 17 was Ahmad Raditya, a representative from the Special Region of Yogyakarta. He currently attends SMK Penerbangan AAB Adi Sucipto.

Meanwhile, the Paskibraka Company Commander was assigned to Marine Captain Rachmatsah Adi Putera, who currently serves as Commander of Rifle Company H, 9th Infantry Battalion, 4th Marine Brigade, Marine Corps.
