President Prabowo Subianto has stated that improvements in the management and governance of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) have yielded significant results. He reported that SOE profits reached Rp 326 trillion in 2025, leading to a dividend payment of Rp 142.3 trillion, a 67 percent increase compared to 2024. The President made these remarks during the Annual Session of the People’s Consultative Assembly (MPR) and the Joint Session of the House of Representatives (DPR) and the Regional Representatives Council (DPD) at the Parliament Complex in Jakarta on Friday (14/8/2026).

Prabowo explained that the increase occurred after the government corrected the profit reports of several SOEs. Following the correction, SOE profits for 2024 were recorded at Rp 186 trillion, with dividends of Rp 85.5 trillion. He emphasised that the 2025 profit figure of Rp 326 trillion was achieved without any manipulation of numbers. The President highlighted that the net contribution to the state, calculated by subtracting state capital injections (PMN) from the dividends, rose from Rp 53 trillion in 2024 to Rp 138 trillion in 2025, a 160 percent increase. He projected that dividend contributions would further increase to Rp 200 trillion in 2026 without any PMN.

Prabowo asserted that these achievements demonstrate how sound and transparent management can deliver rapid results. He expressed his appreciation to the management and leadership of Danantara, suggesting they deserve a state honour for their contribution to reforming the SOEs. Furthermore, the President stated that the increased profits would not only boost state revenue but also be utilised to accelerate downstreaming programmes.
