SOLO — President Prabowo Subianto has announced that Indonesia's investment realisation has reached the target set in the state budget (APBN) of Rp1,905 trillion.

Prabowo made the announcement during his closing remarks at the 2025 Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Congress held at the Edutorium of Universitas Muhammadiyah Surakarta, Central Java, on Sunday (20/7/2025).

In his speech, the eighth President of Indonesia stated that investment in the country had reached the target set in the 2025 State Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBN) by July — four months ahead of the year-end deadline.

"I received a report from the Minister of Investment that Indonesia's investment this month has already reached the target set by last year's APBN. Our 2025 APBN target has been achieved this August, four months before the end of the year," he said.

The head of state also cited a report from the head of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) indicating that unemployment and absolute poverty rates in Indonesia had declined.

"The head of BPS reported to me that unemployment figures are down and absolute poverty figures are down. This is BPS speaking," he stressed.

Prabowo also highlighted the progress of the national sovereign investment fund, Danantara, which was established as part of a long-term strategy to safeguard and manage the nation's wealth for future generations.

He noted that the assets currently managed by Danantara had exceeded US$1,000 billion, marking a significant milestone in strengthening the national economy through long-term investment.

"Danantara is about safeguarding and managing the wealth of our children, grandchildren, and future generations, and Danantara now manages assets of more than US$1,000 billion," Prabowo concluded.

According to Bisnis records, the Ministry of Investment/Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) has projected that 2025 investment in the range of Rp1,868.2 trillion to Rp1,905.6 trillion could drive economic growth to 5.6 per cent in 2025. This figure is higher than the 5.2 per cent target set during the first administration of Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming.
