Prabowo and Minister Jumhur Hidayat Inspect Integrated Waste Processing Site in Banyumas

President Prabowo Subianto inspected the Environment and Education-Based Integrated Waste Processing Site (TPST BLE) in Banyumas, Central Java, on Tuesday, 28 April 2026. Prabowo was accompanied by the newly sworn-in Environment Minister Jumhur Hidayat, who had been appointed the day before.

The aircraft carrying President Prabowo and a limited entourage arrived at Tunggul Wulung Airport in Cilacap Regency on Tuesday afternoon. The group then proceeded to Banyumas Regency.

“This visit was conducted to directly observe integrated waste management, which is hoped to serve as a model for sustainable environmental handling in various regions,” as stated in the Presidential Secretariat’s remarks.

In addition to Jumhur, Prabowo also brought Deputy Coordinating Minister for Food Affairs Hanif Faisol Nurofiq on this visit. Hanif is the former Environment Minister replaced by Jumhur.

President Prabowo inaugurated six officials to new positions in the Red and White Cabinet. One of the positions reshuffled by the Gerindra Party Chairman was the Environment Minister.
