JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim is scheduled to hold a meeting with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto in Jakarta today, Friday (27/3/2026).

“President of the Republic of Indonesia is scheduled to receive a visit from the Malaysian Prime Minister today, Friday, 27 March 2026, in Jakarta,” said Spokesperson for the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Kemlu) Yvonne Mawengkang in a brief message on Friday.

“In addition, the two leaders will also exchange views on recent geopolitical developments, particularly the situation in the Middle East, as well as joint efforts through ASEAN to mitigate the economic impacts of the conflict on regional stability and welfare,” Yvonne stated.

Meanwhile, from the situation around the State Palace, Polda Metro Jaya announced traffic arrangements due to Anwar Ibrahim’s visit.

The Traffic Directorate of Polda Metro Jaya mentioned several main roads that will be passed by the entourage. These include Jalan Halim Perdanakusuma, MT Haryono, Gatot Subroto, Sudirman, MH Thamrin, to Medan Merdeka Barat.
