Prabowo and Gibran Attend PKB's 28th Anniversary Celebration

President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka attended the peak celebration of the National Awakening Party’s (PKB) 28th anniversary at the Jakarta Convention Center, Central Jakarta.

Based on Tempo’s observation at the location, Prabowo and Gibran arrived at the Plenary Hall around 7:40 PM WIB. Accompanied by PKB Chairman Muhaimin Iskandar, Prabowo greeted invited guests consisting of senior PKB officials, a number of religious scholars, and leaders of coalition government parties.

Among the political figures present were Gerindra Party Daily Chairman Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Golkar Party Chairman Bahlil Lahadalia, PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan, and Democratic Party Chairman Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono. Also in attendance were PKS Treasurer Ahmad Syaikhu, PPP Chairman Muhammad Mardiono, and Prima Party Chairman Agus Jabo Priono. Several PDI-P politicians were also seen, including Djarot Saiful Hidayat and Bambang Wuryanto, also known as Bambang Pacul.

Earlier on Thursday afternoon, Muhaimin Iskandar, who also serves as Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment, had confirmed the head of state’s attendance. “God willing, he will come. He said yesterday he would come,” he stated.

The 28th anniversary celebration of the party, nicknamed the Green Party, carried the theme “A New Direction for the Constitutional Economic Mandate”.
