Prabowo and F16 Pilot Exchange Greetings in Jordanian Skies

The aircraft carrying President Prabowo Subianto was greeted by an escort of two F16 fighter jets from the Jordanian Air Force as it entered Jordanian airspace. This air escort was not merely a standard security procedure, but a symbol of high honour from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan to the Indonesian Head of State. The atmosphere became even warmer when one of the F16 pilots exchanged messages with President Prabowo. The pilot conveyed greetings directly from the air. Through radio communication from inside the cockpit, the pilot conveyed a message of honour. “Your Excellency Mr. President, Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh. This is Lion One speaking,” said the pilot, greeting President Prabowo. “Your Excellency, on behalf of His Majesty King Abdullah II and the people of Jordan, we are honoured to welcome you to Jordanian airspace,” he said. “It is a great honour to escort your flight this evening. We hope you enjoy your visit and have a safe landing. Ramadan Mubarak, Sir,” he added. In response to the greeting, President Prabowo expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the honour given. The Head of State warmly replied, expressing his thanks to King Abdullah II and the people of Jordan for the friendly welcome. “Assalamualaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh, Lion Flight, Indonesia One. This is President Prabowo Subianto from Indonesia,” said the Head of State, introducing himself. Prabowo then thanked the F16 pilot for receiving and escorting his flight. “I would like to thank you and your flight for being willing to receive and escort me,” he said.
