Prabowo and Didit Meet Indonesian Diaspora Following Eid al-Adha Prayer in Paris

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and his son, Didit Hediprasetyo, met with the Indonesian diaspora following Eid al-Adha prayers at the Indonesian Embassy in Paris, France, on Wednesday, 27 May 2026. According to a YouTube video from the Presidential Secretariat, Didit first greeted and embraced Prabowo after the prayer. They then stood side by side to greet the diaspora members who were also praying there. Diaspora members present formed a line to personally greet the Head of State. The meeting was warm and cordial. Prabowo also engaged in conversation with several Indonesian citizens. One diaspora member, Zeahita, expressed great joy and honour at praying alongside Indonesia’s top leader. ‘It’s very special, especially being in France and coincidentally meeting the President. It’s such an honour,’ Zeahita said. President Prabowo was in the front row of the prayer line and sat next to Cabinet Secretary Teddy. The prayer service was conducted solemnly, attended by Indonesian nationals and diaspora members present at the embassy.
