Jakarta (ANTARA) - President Prabowo Subianto and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) of Danantara, Sigit Puji Santosa, discussed research and development (R&D) on several government programmes at the Presidential Palace of the Republic of Indonesia in Jakarta on Friday afternoon. “We always brainstorm to find solutions for many things… [Brainstorming related to] our programmes, R&D programmes, education programmes, and so on,” said Sigit P. Santosa in response to reporters’ questions after the meeting with President Prabowo. According to Sigit, who is also the President Director of PT Pindad, the meeting was attended by expert teams. “It was just a regular brainstorm. There were several expert teams,” Sigit stated. Sigit is the main designer of the Maung MV Garuda tactical vehicle, which has now become the presidential car. Regarding the issues discussed in the meeting, Sigit mentioned several topics, including the economy and Danantara. “The discussion covered many things about the economy, about Danantara, and so on,” he said. After briefly answering reporters’ questions, Sigit immediately left the palace complex. In several limited meetings held by President Prabowo, whether at the Presidential Palace or at the President’s private residence in Hambalang, Sigit P. Santosa is often invited by the President to attend. Sigit generally participates in his capacity as Head of Technology (CTO) of Danantara.
