Prabowo and Cabinet Ministers Pay Zakat Fitrah at the Palace

President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming fulfilled their obligation to pay zakat fitrah and zakat mal at the State Palace on Friday, 13 March 2026, joined by members of the Red and White Cabinet.

According to CNBC Indonesia’s observations, nearly all cabinet members also made zakat payments at the Palace. Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration and Public Affairs Yusril Ihza Mahendra arrived first, followed by Minister of Youth and Sports Erick Thohir and Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin. Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar and Finance Minister Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa were also present.

As of 3:13 PM, ministers and heads of institutions continued to arrive one by one. Most ministers made their payments via debit card, though some handed over cash in paper bags to the zakat officers.

The President and Vice President completed their zakat payments by 4:00 PM, presenting pouches that were received by the officers. Prabowo then recited the intention for zakat and received a payment receipt from the officers. Beyond the zakat payments, the President’s agenda for the day also included holding a Cabinet session later in the afternoon.
