Prabowo Affirms Openness to Public Input, Including via Social Media

President Prabowo Subianto has affirmed that the government is open to receiving public aspirations, including suggestions submitted through social media. He stated that he personally reviews various proposals and questions received, promising to examine them one by one. “I receive a list of proposals and questions, quite a lot of them. I promise I will look into each one. Not just proposals from professors, but suggestions from children in the village that reach me directly via TikTok or social media, I will follow up immediately,” Prabowo said during the closing of a national science and industry convention in Jakarta, as reported on Sunday.

Prabowo expressed his belief that difficulties must be confronted. He stressed the importance of having the courage to acknowledge challenges and working hard to find solutions. The President noted that technological advancements now allow the government to respond to public issues more rapidly, as various regional obstacles can be quickly identified and addressed.

He called on academics, including professors and university leaders, to continue deepening their study of technology utilisation. The goal is to ensure that technological progress provides the greatest possible benefit for the nation’s advancement.
