Prabowo Accompanied by Anthony Robbins Inspects Free Nutritious Meal Programme at SMPN 111 Jakarta

President Prabowo Subianto inspected the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme at State Junior High School (SMPN) 111 Jakarta on Tuesday morning. He was accompanied by the prominent American author and motivational speaker, Anthony Jay Robbins.

The presence of Prabowo and Robbins immediately drew the attention of local residents, teachers, and students, particularly due to the towering presence of the American speaker. During the visit, President Prabowo led Robbins on a tour of the classrooms to witness the direct benefits of the MBG programme for the students.

According to a press release from the Presidential Secretariat, the visit is part of the government’s efforts to ensure that this national priority programme is running effectively and providing direct benefits to students. The arrival of Prabowo and Robbins was met with great enthusiasm by students waiting on the school grounds.

As the Head of State entered the school area, he was greeted by cheers and warm greetings from the students, whom he acknowledged with smiles and waves. During the inspection, Prabowo entered several classrooms to observe the programme in action, where students were enjoying the nutritious meals provided by the initiative. In one of the classrooms, the President joined the students for a meal.

In another classroom, a warm and intimate atmosphere prevailed as Prabowo took the time to converse with the students, asking them about their future ambitions. “Who wants to be a doctor? Who wants to be an engineer? Who wants to be a teacher? Who wants to be a footballer?” Prabowo asked.

The students responded enthusiastically to his questions, creating a friendly atmosphere filled with lighthearted banter. The interaction concluded with Prabowo and the students singing the ‘Hymne Guru’ (Teachers’ Hymn) together. At this school, the MBG programme represents more than just providing food; it is a flagship initiative of the Prabowo-Gibran administration aimed at fostering the belief that every Indonesian child deserves an equal opportunity to dream big and realise their potential for the nation’s future.
