JAKARTA – The head of Kalisari sub-district, Siti Nurhasanah, has confirmed that the Public Facilities and Infrastructure Handling Officer (PPSU) who uploaded a follow-up photo for a report via the Jakarta Kini (JAKI) app has been issued a first warning (SP1). Siti also extended an apology for the viral follow-up report on JAKI, which is suspected to have used artificial intelligence (AI). “The officer in question has been given an SP1 and has made a statement not to repeat the action,” Siti said in an official statement on Monday (6/4/2026). However, in the process, the officer uploaded a photo suspected to be fabricated. She explained that handling wild parking is usually carried out jointly with the Civil Service Police Unit (Satpol PP) or PPSU officers. “We will discuss this issue together to ensure it does not happen again in the future,” she stated. Siti noted that the location is currently being used to park four vehicles. “We request that the Sub-District Transportation Office or Transportation Task Force take action because parking on the road body violates regulations and disrupts other residents,” she emphasised. Previously, a netizen complained about wild parking on a residential road in Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta. The report was even submitted through the JAKI app. However, the report was said to remain unresolved. “How to handle the wild parking issue on the sub-district road? Residents protesting directly to the perpetrators didn’t work, reporting to the sub-district level didn’t resolve it, trying to report via JAKI only resulted in fake evidence from AI editing,” the user wrote in the post.
