PPP's hope for cabinet lineup

From Media Indonesia

United Development Party (PPP) chairman Buya H. Ismail Hasan Metareum's hope that his party's leaders can become cabinet ministers is understandable.

His hope has nothing to do with the additional number of seats the party won in the House of Representatives during the recent election or a historical precedent in the past, it is simply based on our culture of mutual help.

Just like the House, the lineup of cabinet members should represent each group in our community.

Opposition is not recognized in this country, is it? But Buya, an obedient politician who devoted his energy to the election, has expressed a hope which should be rewarded.

So, Buya's hope stands to reason.

Especially when we consider the chorus of consent that will surely be heard in the upcoming general assembly of the People's Consultative Council.

In a country that adheres to the principle of deliberation to agree and a culture of mutual help, we should indeed try to accept this with understanding.
