PPP Holds Nationwide Qurban Event, Over 100 Animals Distributed

Partai Persatuan Pembangunan (PPP) has conducted a nationwide Qurban event on the occasion of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijriyah. As of Thursday, 28 May 2024, over 100 animals were distributed by PPP cadres and officials across Indonesia, according to PPP Chairman Muhamad Mardiono.

He made the statement while distributing sacrificial animals at the PPP DKI Jakarta Regional Office. Mardiono said that in Jakarta, the slaughter of animals by the PPP Central Office and Regional Office was consolidated this year, with the meat to be distributed to those in need.

“The Central Office provided five cows, bringing the total to 11 animals,” he added.

Mardiono stated that this year’s Qurban initiative serves as an opportunity to strengthen faith in Allah SWT and social solidarity with the community.

“This Qurban is not only a spiritual occasion but also carries social significance as the meat is distributed to those in need, demonstrating compassion for fellow citizens,” he said.

He also thanked all PPP members across Indonesia for their participation in this year’s Qurban, expressing hope that their intentions would be accepted by Allah SWT and benefit those in need.
