PPIH Debarkasi Makassar Welcomes Returning Hajj Pilgrims from Flight Group 22
Makassar (ANTARA) - The Hajj Organising Committee (PPIH) at Makassar Debarkation, South Sulawesi, welcomed the return of hajj pilgrims from flight group (kloter) 22 originating from Bone Regency after their arrival in the country. Deputy Coordinator for Pilgrim Pick-up and Reception at PPIH Debarkasi Makassar, Wahyuddin Hakim, greeted the pilgrims at the Arafah Hall of the Sudiang Hajj Dormitory in Makassar on Wednesday. “Welcome back to the homeland. May the accepted hajj you have attained bring widespread benefits to the community of Bone, especially in your respective neighbourhoods,” he said. After welcoming the pilgrims, he conducted a handover to the Bone Regency Government, represented by Assistant I for Government and People’s Welfare of the Bone Regional Secretariat, A Yasmin Tahir. “We express our deepest condolences for the passing of one of the Bone Regency pilgrims in the Holy Land. May the deceased be granted the best place in the sight of Allah SWT,” he said. He added that prayers continue for the group member still receiving treatment in Saudi Arabia, hoping for a swift recovery and return home. According to PPIH Makassar data, flight group 22 originally comprised 391 people. However, 387 returned with the group, consisting of 114 men and 273 women.
