All second-wave Indonesian Hajj pilgrims arriving in Medina, Saudi Arabia, are guaranteed the opportunity to worship at the Raudhah in the Nabawi Mosque. This was conveyed by Dr Khalilurrahman, Head of the Hajj Organising Committee (PPIH) for the Medina Working Area. According to him, his team has secured 110,980 entry permits (tasreh) for the Raudhah.

“Alhamdulillah, with the permission of Allah SWT and thanks to the hard work of the Medina Working Area Raudhah team, we have obtained 110,980 Raudhah tasreh for Indonesian Hajj pilgrims. This shows that all second-wave pilgrims can enter the Raudhah,” he said in the courtyard of the Nabawi Mosque, Medina, Saudi Arabia, on Friday (19/6/2026).

The Head of the Medina Working Area and the Spokesperson for the Indonesian Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Maria Assegaf, had just accompanied Indonesian Hajj pilgrims entering the Raudhah for worship after the dawn prayer. The number of Raudhah tasreh obtained exceeds the number of second-wave pilgrims, which totals around 99,000 people. Some Indonesian pilgrims are even able to enter the Raudhah more than once.

“In fact, some of them have entered the Raudhah more than three times, either using tasreh from the Medina Working Area or through the Nusuk Masar application. This is a joy and happiness for us,” he said. Khalilurrahman appreciated the service from the Saudi Ministry of Hajj, which he deemed exceptional this year. The ease of access to the Raudhah is seen as a form of special attention for Indonesian pilgrims.

“This shows that the service from the Saudi Ministry of Hajj is extraordinary. We are given conveniences and smoothness, thanks to the cooperation of all parties and of course the direction from the Minister of Hajj and Umrah, the Deputy Minister, and the Ministerial Secretary for Leadership,” he said. Although the quota is secure, Khalilurrahman urged pilgrims to remain orderly during their visit. He asked pilgrims not to rush to the Nabawi Mosque and not to jostle in queues.
