PPDI PT IPC Container Terminal Distributes Zakat Funds Through Rumah Zakat

The Islamic Outreach Centre (PPDI) of PT IPC Terminal Peti Kemas has conducted a formal transfer of zakat funds to Rumah Zakat in a ceremony held at Pelindo Tower, Jl. Yos Sudarso No. 9, North Jakarta.

The zakat transfer was directly handed over by PPDI Chair Agus Fazri and received by Joko Pamungkas, Community and Global Division Head of Rumah Zakat. The activity reflects a joint commitment to fulfilling zakat obligations whilst expanding their benefits for communities in need.

The zakat funds transferred represent contributions gathered from employees of PT IPC Terminal Peti Kemas through the PPDI. The distribution of these funds is expected to deliver tangible impact to eligible beneficiaries in accordance with Islamic provisions and qualifying categories (asnaf).

Through this collaboration, PPDI hopes the collected zakat funds will be distributed reliably, professionally, and accurately by Rumah Zakat as a National Zakat Collection Institution (LAZ). This partnership also forms part of efforts to strengthen social responsibility and a culture of sharing within the corporate environment.

Going forward, cooperation between PPDI and Rumah Zakat is expected to continue, aiming to increase the effectiveness of zakat distribution for the broader community and support sustainable empowerment programmes.
