TANGERANG SELATAN - On Monday afternoon (4/5/2026), KRL Commuter Line Green Line services were limited to serving up to Serpong Station (from Rangkas Bitung/Parung Panjang) and Kebayoran Station (from Tanah Abang) due to a power supply disruption on the Rangkasbitung line. “Commuter Line services on the Rangkasbitung route via Pondok Ranji and Sudimara cannot be operated temporarily starting from 4:30 PM WIB,” stated KAI Commuter Public Relations Manager Leza Arlan in a written statement on Monday. The disruption occurred due to a spark on an Overhead Power Line (LAA) pole, necessitating a temporary shutdown of the power supply. In response, KAI Commuter implemented route adjustments to reduce delays. Services from Rangkasbitung or Parung Panjang are now terminating at Serpong Station, while those from Tanah Abang end at Kebayoran Station in South Jakarta. Currently, personnel are addressing the issue on-site to normalise Green Line operations. KAI Commuter also extended apologies for the disruption and delays experienced by passengers. Earlier, footage of the Green Line disruption was recorded and uploaded to the Instagram account @jalur5. The congestion was reportedly due to a power outage, forcing passengers to disembark from the train. “Passengers are currently asked to alight as the KRL will be closed,” stated the post.
