MAKASSAR, South Sulawesi: Construction company PT Kassa Listrindo is to build a power plant in Punaga subdistrict, some 40 kilometers south of Makassar, the capital of South Sulawesi province.

"We will start construction in June this year, with the total investment being worth Rp 500 billion (US$60 million)," said the chief commissioner of the company, Brahmantyo, after meeting South Sulawesi governor Amin Syam.

The power plant has a capacity of 60 megawatts.
