Power plant deal closed

WASHINGTON (Reuter): The U.S. Export-Import Bank said Tuesday it closed a deal on US$386 million of financing for sales of U.S.-made equipment for the Jawa power plant project in Indonesia.

The financing will cover purchases of boilers and engineering services from ABB Combustion Engineering Systems, Inc. of Windsor, Conn., and engineering services from Black and Veatch Construction, Inc., in Kansas City, Mo., the Ex-Im Bank said. ABB is a unit of ABB Asea Brown Boveri.
