Power Outages Hit Several Bogor Areas Due to Network Maintenance

A number of locations in the City and Regency of Bogor, West Java, experienced an electricity blackout. The outage occurred due to maintenance work on the electricity network. Social media posts reported the blackout on Tuesday (9/6/2026), with one of the affected areas being on Jalan Pajajaran, Bogor City. When asked for confirmation, PLN Bogor City’s public relations staff member, Fajar Nugroho, said the power outage was related to the network maintenance. ‘That is correct, network maintenance is currently underway,’ Fajar said. The maintenance is still being carried out by technicians. Once the maintenance is completed, normalisation will be carried out and the power can be restored. ‘Once the maintenance is finished, normalisation will be carried out immediately,’ he concluded.
