It is regrettable that several members of Megawati
Soekarnoputri's Cabinet have tendered their resignations because
they have decided to join the presidential race either as
presidential or vice presidential candidates.

Although these resignations are actually in compliance with
the prevailing laws, it is possible that they could be construed
as disloyalty or a lack of dedication to the state.

It is obvious that these former ministers are faced with a
difficult choice: To attain more power or to remain at their
posts as Cabinet members.

Of course, it all depends on one's own conscience.
