Power Disruption Continues: KRL Green Line Only Reaches Serpong Station
Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - KAI Commuter has reported the latest update on the operational status of the Commuter Green Line services to and from Tanah Abang-Rangkasbitung on Monday afternoon (4/5/2026). Currently, the KRL Green Line is operating from Tanah Abang Station but only up to Serpong Station. This is due to operational issues stemming from a spark on the Overhead Power Line (LAA) pole.
“Services from Rangkasbitung Station are still only available up to Serpong Station,” said Vice President Corporate Secretary of PT Kereta Commuter Indonesia, Karina Amanda, to CNBC Indonesia.
At present, relevant personnel are handling the situation and making efforts to restore normal operations on the Commuter Line in the area, which is currently experiencing rain.
KAI Commuter has also expressed apologies for this operational disruption and the delays to Rangkasbitung Commuter Line services this afternoon. To minimise delays, KAI Commuter will implement travel adjustments on that route.
“Services from Rangkasbitung Station are still only available up to Serpong Station,” Karina clarified.
KAI Commuter urges all users to prioritise safety and follow instructions from station personnel. Updates on Commuter Line services can be accessed via the C-Access application and official KAI Commuter social media accounts.
