Jakarta (ANTARA) - Tecno Mobile, the Chinese-based mobile phone manufacturer, has announced the launch date for the Pova 8, which is scheduled to take place on 11 June 2026. Gadgets360 reported on Saturday (6/6) that ahead of the phone’s debut, the company has begun revealing several details showcasing significant improvements over the previous generation.

According to posts released by the company, the phone’s primary attraction is its battery capacity, which reaches 8,000 mAh. This is claimed to support intensive use throughout the day, even longer than most smartphones currently on the market. Interestingly, the smartphone is also reported to run on an Android 16-based operating system from its initial release.

The Pova 8 will be supported by 45W fast charging to complement its large battery capacity. Regarding memory options, the smartphone is rumoured to be available in three configurations: 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, and a high-end variant featuring 8GB RAM with 256GB storage.

In terms of aesthetics, the phone will be available in green and silver colour options and features a redesigned rear camera module. This feature is said to share a similar concept with the Glyph Matrix system used in the Nothing smartphone series.
