South Tangerang, Kompas.com - The road on the Ciputat flyover in South Tangerang, which was previously potholed and reportedly injured two people, has now been patched. Based on observations at the location on Monday (23/3/2026), the previously potholed and damaged road surface is now covered with asphalt material. The patch is located on the road section heading towards Bogor, right at the flyover bend. Two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles are now passing through the point smoothly without significant obstacles. Traffic flow in the area is also monitored as normal without congestion. The road repair was carried out by the Ministry of Public Works this afternoon. At the site, three workers wearing safety vests and work equipment were seen completing the pothole patching using asphalt. One worker, Ari (not his real name), said it took about 60 minutes to cover the hole. “We patched two holes, one on the Jakarta-Bogor road section, and another on the Bogor-Jakarta section,” he said. An Instagram post from @tangsel.life mentioned that due to the road damage, two riders were thrown off and injured. One of them was reportedly taken to hospital with a broken leg.
