Posyandu RA Kartini in Tebet Set as Example for Minimum Service Standards

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Posyandu RA Kartini in Menteng Dalam Ward, Tebet Subdistrict, South Jakarta, has been designated as a pilot project for implementing the posyandu concept with six fields of Minimum Service Standards (SPM). “Services do not only cover basic health but are also integrated with education, public works, people’s housing, public order and security (tramtibum), community protection, and social fields,” said the Head of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Office for Community Empowerment, Child Protection, and Population Control (PPAPP), Dwi Oktavia, in Jakarta on Wednesday. Dwi stated that the posyandu has transformed into an integrated service centre. The pilot project aligns with the implementation of Ministry of Home Affairs Regulation No. 13 of 2024 on Posyandu with six SPM fields. Therefore, Dwi hopes the programme can continue to be developed so that more posyandus in DKI Jakarta can fully implement the six SPM fields concept. “Posyandu RA Kartini has not yet participated in the Posyandu competition because it is still in pilot project status, representing South Jakarta in applying the concept,” she said. Meanwhile, the Chair of the South Jakarta Posyandu Guidance Team, Diah Anwar, stated that the implementation of the six SPM fields at Posyandu RA Kartini will provide broad benefits to the community. “I hope that by 2026, this programme will be even more optimal, run smoothly, and its benefits can be felt by all levels of society,” Diah said. Regarding residents who are still reluctant to come to the posyandu, Diah emphasised the importance of the cadres’ role in increasing socialisation through cooperation with RT and RW administrators and other community elements. She added that aspects of public order and security are also a focus in posyandu activities, including through the involvement of volunteers who help maintain environmental security. “Volunteers also remind children who are still gathering late at night to go home immediately,” she said.
