“We will not hesitate to take enforcement action if sufficiently serious violations are found,” said Dudy during a press conference at Bekasi Timur Station, Bekasi City, on Wednesday (29/4/2026). Dudy explained that the raid involved examining various aspects to determine whether the green taxi company Green SM meets safety and operational standards as public transportation. “So the investigative audit we conducted covers all aspects, including operational, technical, and human resources, and this is still ongoing,” Dudy stated. “We want to ensure that the company provides services to the public in compliance with safety standards, particularly, and operational standards as a taxi company or corporation for the public,” he added. Previously, as reported by detikFinance, the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) through the Directorate General of Land Transportation carried out a surprise inspection (raid) at the Xanh SM (Green SM) taxi pool in Bekasi, West Java, on Tuesday night (28/4). This raid was conducted following the fatal accident involving a collision between the Argo Bromo Anggrek train and a KRL in Bekasi Timur. The raid aims to ensure the implementation of the Company Public Transport Safety Management System (SMK PAU) is in accordance with regulations, as it relates to vehicle safety. The raid was carried out at the Green SM Bekasi pool because it is the operational origin location of the vehicle suspected to be involved in the accident. The inspection focused on checking administrative completeness, vehicle roadworthiness, fleet operational readiness, and other safety elements. “In organising public transportation, there are several elements that must be carried out in accordance with SMK PAU. We conducted the raid to ensure all those safety aspects are implemented, from pre-trip inspections to driver competency and health,” explained Director General of Land Transportation Aan Suhanan in a written statement on Wednesday (29/4). “We want to ensure that the safety management system in public transport companies, including Green SM, has been implemented according to regulations. From the initial examination results, there are several findings that we will investigate further,” he continued.
