POST-IDUL FITRI DROP: Several farmers weigh carrots they have
just harvested at Gondosuli village in Karang Anyar, Central
Java. The prices of vegetables, such as carrots and string beans,
continued to decline sharply on Wednesday, one week after the
Idul Fitri holiday. For example, string beans were being sold at
Rp 1,300 per kilogram, a decrease from Rp 2,000 per kilogram
during Idul Fitri.
