Post-Holiday Break, DKI Provincial Government Holds Halalbihalal at City Hall

Jakarta (ANTARA) - The DKI Jakarta Provincial Government held a Halalbihalal event attended by all ranks of Civil Servants (ASN), Individual Other Service Providers (PJLP), and Government Employees with Work Agreements (P3K). During the event, DKI Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo with his wife, Deputy Governor Rano Karno with his wife, and Regional Secretary Uus Kuswanto shook hands one by one with employees in the DKI Provincial Government scope. “On behalf of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, we convey minal aidin wal faizin, please forgive our physical and spiritual shortcomings,” said Pramono when met at City Hall on Wednesday. According to Pramono, more than 2,000 consumption boxes prepared had been distributed, indicating that more than 2,000 people attended the event. ASN, PJLP, and P3K queued to perform Halalbihalal with the Governor and Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta at City Hall. At the location, Pramono had arrived at City Hall around 07:30 WIB. Employees began queuing in front of the City Hall Pendopo starting at 08:30 WIB. Meanwhile, the Halalbihalal event started at 09:00 WIB. The event finished at 10:40 WIB and was followed by a communal meal. Several ASN interviewed said they had left their respective residences since 06:00 WIB. They did this to avoid the possibility of heavy traffic flow on the first day of work after the Eid al-Fitr joint holiday ended. The queue snaked from the ground floor of the DKI Jakarta DPRD building to the City Hall Pendopo. Although the queue was quite long, the ASN said the duration to reach the City Hall Pendopo was relatively quick. This was because the ASN were also hurried out and took turns after shaking hands with the Governor-Deputy Governor of Jakarta along with officials in the DKI Provincial Government environment.
