Post-Eid Return Traffic: One-Way System Implemented on Trans-Java Toll Road from Km 263–70
JAKARTA - The second phase of the one-way system on the Trans-Java Toll Road to anticipate the surge in post-Eid return traffic for 2026 was implemented on Friday (27/3/2026) at 10:23 WIB. Meanwhile, the Head of the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps, Inspector General of Police Agus Suryonugroho, explained that this traffic engineering applies from kilometre 263 of the Pejagan Toll to kilometre 70 of the Cikampek Utama Toll (Cikatama) towards Jakarta. “The Minister of Transportation is directly overseeing the opening of the precise second-phase one-way return traffic starting from kilometre 263,” Agus said. Previously, at 07:30 WIB, the National Police Traffic Corps had already conducted on-site socialisation while implementing the first phase of the one-way system from kilometre 132 to kilometre 70 towards Jakarta. The implementation of this traffic engineering is expected to smooth the journey for those returning to Jakarta and reduce density on the Trans-Java Toll Road during the post-Eid return period.
