Positive Performance in 2025, Bank Banten Targets Rp75 Billion Profit for 2026

The participation of regencies and cities in entrusting the management of Regional General Cash Accounts (RKUD) to Bank Banten has a direct impact on performance improvements, particularly in the disbursement of credit to civil servants (ASN) and non-permanent civil servants (PPPK). Serang (ANTARA) - Bank Banten recorded significant financial performance growth throughout the 2025 fiscal year, with assets exceeding Rp10 trillion. Based on this achievement, management is optimistic about targeting a net profit of Rp75 billion in 2026. Bank Banten’s President Director, Muhammad Busthami, in Serang on Tuesday, stated that the 2025 performance improvement covered all financial lines, with average growth above 30 per cent compared to 2024. Based on the 2025 performance report, Bank Banten recorded total assets surpassing Rp10 trillion, credit disbursements of Rp5.07 trillion, and third-party funds (DPK) of Rp6.42 trillion. Credit quality showed significant improvement, with the gross non-performing loan (NPL) ratio now below 5 per cent. “The participation of regencies and cities in entrusting the management of Regional General Cash Accounts (RKUD) to Bank Banten has a direct impact on performance improvements, particularly in the disbursement of credit to ASN and PPPK,” he explained after the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (RUPST) and Public Expose. “According to the bank’s 2026 business plan, our projected net profit at the end of the year is Rp75 billion. However, we are striving earnestly to achieve above that target,” he emphasised. To achieve this target, Bank Banten has prepared several main strategies, including accelerating digital development of products and digital services as a necessity for modern banking, as well as operational efficiency, business process improvements, tighter cost management, and enhancing professional, integrity-driven, and productive human resources. Meanwhile, the Secretary of Banten Province, Deden Apriandhi Hartawan, stated that Banten must continue to increase economic productivity year on year. He hopes that Bank Banten will become the engine driving the regional economy through synergies with regency and city governments. “What was achieved in 2025 is something good. The hope is that Banten can indeed become the engine driving the economy. Currently, there are already four regions, namely Lebak, Pandeglang, Serang Regency, and Serang City, that have joined the RKUD. We will continue to strive for other regions to contribute as well,” Deden said.
