PT Pos Properti Indonesia, a subsidiary of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero), has recorded performance growth amid ongoing sectoral pressures in the property industry, which remain shadowed by weak purchasing power, interest rates, and funding costs.

Business diversification strategy and asset portfolio optimisation have been identified as key factors maintaining the company’s revenue stability throughout 2025 and into early 2026.

The director of PT Pos Properti Indonesia, Junita Roemawi, stated that despite continued macroeconomic fluctuations, opportunities in the domestic property market remain open given national economic growth hovering around 5 per cent.

Through a business model based on rental income, asset utilisation partnerships, and development of new business lines, the company has maintained its revenue growth trajectory.

“We do see economic dynamics at play, but the demand for productive property remains strong. With our asset portfolio spread across various cities and revenue diversification, we remain optimistic about capturing market opportunities,” Junita said during a Property Point programme on CNBC Indonesia.

Junita explained that market opportunities extend beyond the residential segment to include shifts in workplace space requirements and urban lifestyle patterns.

In the residential segment, demand for middle-market housing continues to show positive momentum, whilst in the commercial sector the company is capturing opportunities through coworking space development that offers flexibility for businesses and startups.

Heading into 2026, space demand is expected to remain stable, particularly for assets with clear function and strategic location. Pos Properti Indonesia is pursuing asset optimisation through various approaches, ranging from space rental and development of heritage-based creative hubs such as Pos Bloc, to strengthening its hospitality line.

Additionally, the company is strengthening the co-living concept in response to young urban professionals’ demand for flexible housing solutions.

This year, Pos Properti is targeting development of a new co-living concept called Homy Nomad in strategic Jakarta areas, including Fatmawati and Haji Nawi, integrated with public transport and urban activity centres.

To maintain performance stability, Pos Properti is implementing a three-pillar strategy: optimisation of existing assets, operational efficiency, and selective new business development.

This approach is considered essential to maintain balance between revenue growth and financial health whilst ensuring business relevance to changing market needs.

On another front, the diverse character of assets presents a distinct challenge in the commercialisation process. Some assets remain dedicated to PT Pos Indonesia operations and require adjustment before commercial optimisation. To accelerate this process, the company is prioritising strategic partnerships with various parties.

Concluding the interview, Junita reaffirmed Pos Properti Indonesia’s commitment to becoming a property solutions partner for investors and businesses through flexible collaboration models.

With its broad asset portfolio and adaptive business approach, the company is confident it can continue creating added value whilst maintaining sustainable growth.
