PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) has addressed negative speculation by confirming it has met its obligations to investors with the payment of returns on the Sustainable Sukuk Ijarah I Pos Indonesia Phase I Year 2024 Series A-C on Friday (24/7). The return payment for the 6th period amounted to IDR 24,118,750,000 and was distributed through PT Kustodian Sentral Efek Indonesia (KSEI) as the securities administration agency. Corporate Secretary of PT Pos Indonesia (Persero), Iwan Gunawan, stated that this payment represents the company’s commitment to fulfilling its obligations in accordance with the terms agreed upon in the sukuk issuance. ‘The payment of returns on this Sukuk Ijarah is proof of Pos Indonesia’s commitment to maintaining investor trust and fulfilling all obligations in accordance with the Trustee Agreement and sukuk issuance documents. The company will continue to prioritise good corporate governance and the principle of information transparency to all stakeholders,’ he said. The securities paid are the Sustainable Sukuk Ijarah I Pos Indonesia Phase I Year 2024 Series A-C with codes SIPOST01ACN1, SIPOST01BCN1, and SIPOST01CCN1. The payment was made on 24 July 2026 for the 6th return period. Iwan added that Pos Indonesia is committed to maintaining the company’s credibility in the capital market through responsible fulfilment of financial obligations. Although it was delayed, this step also reflects the company’s maintained fundamental condition amidst global economic dynamics. ‘Investor trust is an important asset for the company. Therefore, we will continue to ensure that every obligation is fulfilled on time while applying the principle of transparency in accordance with applicable capital market regulations,’ he said. He explained that Pos Indonesia is currently continuing to innovate to improve company performance. Pos Indonesia is implementing good governance in accordance with good corporate governance (GCG) principles for advanced and competitive state-owned enterprises.
