The Corporate Secretary of PT Pos Indonesia, Iwan Gunawan, stated that Daud Joseph’s resignation was submitted based on his own wishes and personal considerations.

“PT Pos Indonesia (Persero) announces that President Director Daud Joseph has submitted his request to resign from his position on 2 July 2026. The reason for the resignation is purely due to the personal wishes and considerations of the individual concerned,” Iwan said in a written statement on Thursday, 2 July 2026.

Daud Joseph officially assumed the role of President Director of PT Pos Indonesia based on the Decision of the Shareholders of PT Pos Indonesia Number 168 of 2026/SK.0E5/DI-DAM/DO/2026, dated 11 March 2026.

Prior to leading Pos Indonesia, Daud served as the Director of Operations and Safety at PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta). He subsequently resigned from that position after being entrusted to lead PT Pos Indonesia.

With the resignation submitted on 2 July 2026, Daud’s tenure at Pos Indonesia lasted approximately three months.

Following the resignation, Pos Indonesia ensured that the leadership transition process will be conducted in accordance with the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG).

Iwan stated that the leadership replacement process will not disrupt operational activities or services to the public.

“While this process is underway, PT Pos Indonesia ensures that the company’s operational activities continue to run and do not interfere with the service process for all stakeholders,” he said.

Operations and Transformation Guaranteed to Continue

Pos Indonesia also emphasised that all business activities and services will continue as normal despite the changes within the board of directors.
