Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - The State-Owned Enterprises Regulatory Body (BP BUMN) is encouraging the strengthening of PT Pos Indonesia’s role as the parent for consolidating state-owned logistics companies. The Head of BP BUMN and COO of Danantara, Dony Oskaria, urged the state-owned enterprise to be adaptive to technological developments. According to him, the transformation programme is seen as a strategic step to deliver more efficient, integrated, and responsive logistics services to the needs of the public. “I want all of us to have the same understanding regarding the transformation occurring in state-owned enterprises. Because, after all, this entire transformation will certainly be experienced by all state-owned enterprises,” he stated in his remarks, quoted on Wednesday (22/4/2026). In his direction, Dony Oskaria emphasised the importance of a shared vision in carrying out the transformation of state-owned enterprises. “This is in line with the direction from the President, and it is not just requested but we all must believe that if we want to have a sustainable company, a developing company, a company that we can pass on to the next generation,” he revealed. Dony explained that the transformation of PT Pos Indonesia as the national logistics parent is considered a strategic step in building an integrated logistics ecosystem. This effort is expected to improve inter-regional connectivity, reduce logistics costs, and support the smooth distribution of goods throughout Indonesia. In addition, PT Pos Indonesia is also encouraged to strengthen its competitiveness through improvements in service quality, operational efficiency, and the utilisation of digital technology. “With these steps, the company is expected to play a more optimal role in supporting national economic growth,” he concluded.
