Portrait of Prabowo Inaugurating Heads of National Nutrition Agency and Special Presidential Advisor

President Prabowo Subianto officially inaugurated Nanik Sudaryati Deyang as the Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) at the State Palace, Jakarta, on Monday (8/6/2026). Alongside her, Agustina Arumsari and Trenggono were appointed as Deputy Heads of the BGN.

The legal basis for these appointments is Presidential Decree Number 18/M of 2026, concerning the dismissal and appointment of the Head and Deputy Heads of the BGN. During the ceremony, Nanik, Agustina, and Trenggono took their oaths of office, which were led directly by President Prabowo, followed by the signing of the inauguration minutes.

It is noted that President Prabowo dismissed the three previous leaders of the BGN—Dadan Hindayana, Lodewyk Pusung, and Sony Sonjaya—following their involvement in corruption cases. This announcement was previously read by the Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi, at the Presidential Office on Tuesday (2/6/2026) evening.

In addition to the BGN appointments, President Prabowo also inaugurated the President of the Indonesian Trade Union Confederation as the Special Presidential Advisor for Labour and Worker Welfare. The appointment was authorised under Presidential Decree Number 58/P of 2026. During the ceremony, the newly appointed advisor took the oath of office under the guidance of President Prabowo.
