A brawl between two groups of residents on Jalan Tambak, Pegangsaan, Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Sunday resulted in one fatality and another person in critical condition. Police stated the clash was triggered by a dispute at a nasi uduk stall. Separately, a suspected chicken thief was reported dead after being beaten by a mob in Baturiti, Tabanan Regency, Bali, on Sunday. A member of the House of Representatives highlighted the plight of the suspect’s child, stating the state is obliged to provide trauma recovery care.
