Poor executive train service
Poor executive train service
From Bisnis Indonesia
I had a bad experience traveling on an executive train during
the recent Lebaran holiday. The expensive ticket was not worth
the service provided.
I took the Bima executive train from Yogyakarta to Jakarta on
Nov. 30. The train was almost six hours behind schedule.
Most annoyingly, the train stopped at many small stations
between Cirebon and Cikampek. Actually, an executive train stops
only at certain stations. At these small stations, the conductor
took in many new passengers.
Upon a complaint from one of the passengers, the conductor
simply said that they had done so because their superiors did not
care much about them.
The management of the railway company PT KAI must pay more
attention to the well-being of their employees, especially at the
lower level so that passengers can enjoy a more comfortable train
journey.
