Poor discipline at toll entrance

Poor discipline at toll entrance

From Kompas

My office is located near Taman Mini Indonesia Indah, East Jakarta. I live in Citeureup, Bogor, West Java. I finish work at 5 p.m. and must wait for public transportation at the Taman Mini toll entrance, or sometimes the drivers of private cars kindly give me and my friends a lift.

Lately, police patrols cooperating with Jasa Marga do not allow cars to drop and pick up passengers at the respective toll gates. On Aug. 15, police and a Jasa Marga official did not permit us to wait for transportation. However, we noticed on the same day that in lane one at the ticket counter, about 15 Jasa Marga employees were calmly waiting for transportation.

We honestly admit that we are not very disciplined. But then, those Jasa Marga workers and the official who forbade us to wait at the toll gate could also be called poorly disciplined people. If dropping and picking up passengers at toll gates is not permitted, this rule should apply to everybody, including the Jasa Marga employees.
