JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Polytron is beginning to demonstrate its seriousness in the national electric vehicle market. The local brand is targeting sales of up to twice as many units this year.

Polytron’s Commercial Director, Tekno Wibowo, stated that the company remains optimistic despite the increasingly tight competition in the electric vehicle market.

Based on data from the Indonesian Automotive Industry Association (Gaikindo), Polytron’s total wholesales or distribution from factory to dealers throughout 2025 reached 455 units.

This distribution came from two variants, namely 282 units of the G3+ and 173 units of the G3.

Meanwhile, in terms of retail sales or from dealers to consumers, Polytron recorded 353 units throughout last year.

Polytron hopes to continue expanding market acceptance of electric vehicles while strengthening its position as one of the local brands that is starting to be reckoned with in the national automotive industry.

Looking at last year’s performance, even though it only began marketing its products in the second half of 2025, Polytron managed to break into the top 25 national sales list.

Entering 2026, from January to March, Polytron’s electric vehicle retail sales were recorded at 153 units.
