Polytron launches budget-friendly New Luxia laptop priced at Rp7 million

JAKARTA — Technology brand Polytron has launched its latest budget-friendly laptop, the New Luxia, priced at approximately Rp7 million for Indonesian consumers. This is Polytron’s fourth laptop release and the first powered by AMD. ‘Today we can say this is Polytron’s first laptop using AMD Ryzen 5 7000 series processors,’ said Polytron IT Product Manager David Erhan in Jakarta on Monday. David elaborated that the laptop is equipped with the AMD Ryzen 5 7430U chip, known for its power efficiency, and features AMD Radeon Graphics for visual performance. ‘We offer memory upgrade options with additional slots, allowing users to upgrade RAM and storage themselves,’ David said. For the display, the laptop features a 14-inch (35.6 cm) screen, a common size among Indonesian consumers. To complement the display, the New Luxia includes a backlit keyboard, which aids typing in low-light conditions with adjustable brightness levels from medium to high. For video calls, the laptop features a 2MP camera with a Camera Switch feature to enhance user privacy. Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 5.0 support and a comprehensive array of I/O ports, including HDMI 2.0, full-function USB-C, data-transfer USB-C, USB 3.0, and TF Card slots. The Polytron New Luxia is available for pre-order exclusively on Blibli from 25 May to 3 June 2026. Pre-order customers also receive a smart CCTV camera and backpack.
