Public support for the government of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka remains steady amid current national dynamics. The latest Poltracking Indonesia survey, conducted from 2-8 March 2026, finds that public satisfaction and trust levels are still high. These findings strengthen the government’s position in maintaining political stability and public perception of its performance. The survey results released by Poltracking Indonesia record public satisfaction with the President and Vice President’s performance at 74.1 percent. “Public satisfaction with Prabowo-Gibran stands at 74.1 percent, and trust in the government reaches 75.1 percent,” stated Lead Researcher of Poltracking Indonesia, Masduri Amrawi, in the survey release titled Evaluation of Government Performance & Prabowo-Gibran Priority Programmes, on the Poltracking TV YouTube channel on Monday, 13 April 2026. He explained that these figures indicate that the majority of society still provides a positive assessment of national leadership. Additionally, trust in the government is recorded at 75.1 percent, showing that public legitimacy remains strong. “75.1 percent of the public say they trust—combining very trust and somewhat trust—the Prabowo-Gibran administration,” he clarified. He further noted that this achievement reflects the stability of public support for the Prabowo-Gibran Government. Such conditions, he added, can serve as an important indicator in reading public perception of the direction of national policies moving forward. The high satisfaction level, he revealed, is not detached from programmes that are directly felt by the public. These programmes are assessed as able to provide tangible impacts in daily life, while also strengthening public trust. “The programme most felt to be beneficial by the public is MBG (Free Nutritious Meals) with a figure of 36.5 percent,” he said. The MBG programme is mentioned as one of the policies most directly felt by the public, placing this programme as the top priority in public perception. Therefore, the effectiveness of MBG becomes an important factor in building public trust.
