Poltracking Survey: 72.2% of Public Satisfied with Prabowo-Gibran Performance

The Poltracking survey was conducted between 11 and 17 May 2026, involving Indonesian citizens of voting age (17 years or older, or married). The study utilised a multistage random sampling method with 1,220 respondents, maintaining a margin of error of +/- 2.9% at a 95% confidence level.

Respondents were asked to assess the performance of the administration of President Prabowo and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. The results indicate that 72.2% of respondents expressed satisfaction. Specifically, 6.2% reported being ‘very satisfied’, while 66% were ‘sufficiently satisfied’.

Conversely, 23.2% of respondents expressed dissatisfaction, with 1.95% being ‘very dissatisfied’, bringing the total dissatisfaction rate to 25.1%.

Poltracking detailed the primary reasons behind the 72.2% satisfaction rate. Key factors include the perception that government assistance is well-targeted (14%) and the Free Nutritious Meal (MBG) programme (13.8%), alongside views of firm and authoritative leadership and a stable economy.
