JAKARTA - Poltracking Indonesia survey institute records public satisfaction with the government of President Prabowo Subianto and Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka at 74.1 per cent based on a survey conducted from 2-8 March 2026.

Poltracking’s lead researcher Masduri Amrawi revealed that one factor contributing to the high satisfaction with Prabowo-Gibran is the Free Nutritious Meals (MBG) programme.

“So this programme is not only a priority programme but also the most phenomenal one, the most spotlighted by the public, both by those who support and those who oppose the MBG programme,” said Masduri during a virtual press conference on Monday (13/4/2026).

Masduri stated that this finding shows that the public in general pays considerable attention to the MBG programme despite frequent controversies.

“Of course, without denying that there are groups that are critical of this policy,” he said.

Furthermore, 13.8 per cent of the public is satisfied due to the government’s aid being on target.
