Poltekpin Basic Competency Test Participants Warned Not to Trust Promises of Passing
Jakarta (ANTARA) - The Ministry of Law has reminded participants of the Basic Competency Test (SKD) for the first intake of students at the Politeknability Pengayoman Indonesia (Poltekpin) not to trust any parties promising guaranteed passing results.
While inspecting the implementation of the Poltekpin SKD in Jakarta on Thursday (24/9), the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Law, Nico Afinta, stated that the most important factors are self-confidence and personal ability. “We provide our support; always pray, and have faith in your preparation and your own abilities,” said Nico, as quoted from a statement confirmed in Jakarta on Friday.
He urged participants to report immediately if they encounter irresponsible parties promising success within the selection process. According to Nico, preparation, ability, and self-belief are the primary assets for facing the selection.
He noted that results will not betray the process, and therefore, believing in one’s own abilities and undergoing every stage of the selection with seriousness is the key. The Secretary-General emphasised that the selection process is conducted objectively and transparently, ensuring all participants have an equal opportunity to demonstrate their best abilities.
He added that the SKD is the initial step for participants in achieving their ambitions. “I hope the participants can focus on taking the exam without being influenced by parties promising ease in the selection process; believe in yourselves,” he said.
A total of 4,524 participants who passed the administrative selection stage are taking the SKD at various locations across Indonesia. Out of the 4,524 participants, 706 are taking the selection at the National Civil Service Agency (BKN) Central Office in Jakarta, while others are taking the exam at designated locations in various regions.
The SKD is being conducted using the BKN Computer Assisted Test (CAT) system. The committee has undertaken various preparations to ensure the SKD is carried out orderly and in accordance with the regulations.
The SKD serves as the first stage in the Poltekpin student admission series following the administrative selection. Participants who meet the requirements at this stage will proceed to the next selection stages according to the schedule and regulations set by the committee.
Through an objective, transparent, and high-integrity selection process, the Ministry of Law hopes to recruit Poltekpin candidates who possess the competence, discipline, and integrity required to be prepared as high-quality human resources in the field of law.
